Sutton Is my Wife's family name.I can not take the credit for any of the research into the Sutton name. For this I must thank several people. My Father-in-Law, Tony Sutton, has been most helpful with the names he remembers, even though he thinks his memory is not what it used to be. My thanks also to Bernard Condon, who had already carried out some work on his side of the family.

I must particularly thank Grace Sutton who is responsible for tracing the Sutton name back to 1683. Grace has been kind enough to supply a completed family tree along with other information about the family. Grace has saved me many years work.
